Comment:

This is my first great quality video recording about the Scorpions' last Farewell Tour what called Get Your Sting And Blackout Tour. This running will stay 2-3 years long and they want to go into that places what they had never been before as a 5 continents tour. Of course the band was starting this long tournamnt in Europe. Some concerts had been in their hometown Germany and some in other western countries like France and Belgium. Strasbourg is a special place for me because two years ago I had been there with my friends in an unforgettable concert where Uli Jon Roth and Rudi Lenners were the sapecial guests and played more than two hours in the full house of Zenith Europe. Now there was the same situation. The show was sold out and the audience were fantastic and taking the breath together by the Scorps. The setlist is the same as in the other stations in the beginning of the tournament. 21 songs and about two hours pure rock music! Just amazing! They added 4 new tracks from their last and final album Sting In The Tail. the titel track, the two promoted songs (The Good Die Young and Raised On Rock) and the last track of the album The Best Is Yet To Come. Besides they played some of my favourite materials like We'll Burn The Sky and Make It Real. Unfortunatelly they dropped the Animal Magnetism and Pictured Life after their very first concert (Prague). Well, the performance is perfect! The lights and the sound are incredible. The big ledwall and the fires looks very well. just like Rudy's smaked guitar and his "crazy mask" in the Blackout. :)

The video recording is just almost the complete show. The first verse of The Good Die Young is missing just like the whole Kottak Attack (drum solo) where James looks crazy again! :) There is a new film on the screen behind of him. It's a short compilation and summary about the Scorps history. I have seen the whole film in a video what made in other concert (Paris). Interesting stuff!

Quality:

Great quality video recording. I have an other concert from this same guy and he did a great job again. He had been in the left side of the balcony and used a good video camera to record the concert. The total and the zommed pictures are sharp. The sound is great also! The bass is a little bit loud but still enjoyable.
