Comment:

This show was much about the fall of the wall and the german reunification. The announcer begins to say something about the end of the cold war, and when we - the germans - think of these days we all have a certain music in our minds and now we will listen to this music. First part: Scorps play wind of change After the first music another man comes on stage to award the Scorps with this goldene Henne. His name is Henry Maske. He was a german boxer and world champion in the middle weight class. He begins his speech with the success of the Scorpions as second western rock band in Leningrad in 1988, continues with the moscow music peace festival and mentions the invitation to the Kreml in 1991. In 1996 the Scorps played before on of his world champion fights. He says, he is a big fan of the Scorpions (btw. Henry Maske is a kind of national hero, he is called 'the gentleman'). Klaus gets the award and notices that it's quite heavy. This is for sure their first rock'n'roll chicken and it will get a special place in the studio. Then comes again the blonde announcer and tells something that Deep Purple played as first rockband with an orchestra 40 years ago and this evening the Scorps will do the same - they play with the Babelsberg Film Orchestra the Scorps hit 'Hurricane 2000'. I didn't cut the rest of the show, because you can see the boys in the background. The blonde announcer just tells that it was a nice show and so on. (Hans from Germany)

Quality:
