Comment:

The Scorpions came back to Budapest two years after their last visit. The show in 2009 had been so success and the same promoter group thought that they have to invite them for a station in the long farewell tour. Two days ago the band played in Bratislava (Slovakia) and Klaus looked a little bit tired. They didn't played the extra encore "When The Smoke Is Going Down" although there was in the selist. But besides the band had been in good mood and played a great performance. James' drum had a problem from the middle of song "Make It Real" because he was breaking in the snare. The technicals couldn't help him because the drum set had lifted upso they had to wait the end of the song. Klaus spined out his conferance before the next song (of course he was greeting the audience in hungarian) so they could change the broken instrument. As a matter of fact the audience didn't perceive anything about it because James drummed the song without snare professionaly. Congrats! :)
Well, the set was the same as in this period of the Get Your Sting And Blackout Tour. Nothing had been changed! Before the band's newest hit "The Best Is Yet To come" Klaus was talking about their very first concert behind the iron courtain. Yes...there was in Budapest on the summer of 1986! (although he mentioned 1987) Fortunatelly now the Omega members had not been guests on the show so the "Big City Nights" was very enjoyable at Budapest again...with the classic pyramid at the end of the song. The encore had been the well familiar trio...Still Loving You, Wind Of Change, Rock You Like A Hurricane. Summarizing, the Scorpions played a very profassionally performance. With full of energy what they can pass to the audience too. They still rock like a Hurricane!

Quality:

Amazing quality recording of the Scorpions' Farewell Tour called "Get Your Sting And Blackout". Unfortunatelly there had been a microphone's contact failure in the middle of the show. So three tracks (Send Me An Angel, Holiday and Raised On Rock) are missing on the recording.
