Comment:

The Scorpions was beginning their north-american tournament in Holmdel, New Jersey. The US fans have waited for the band's long full USA/Canada tour from 2003 and the guys playes 38 concerts over the ocean in the year 2010. Unfortunatelly Klaus had been flu and his troath couldn' be worked as always. The band didn't want to cancel the show so they had to dropped some songs from the planned setlist. They played only 94 minutes what included a long drum solo of James, and the only one instrumental song Coast To Coast. So Klaus was singin in only 14 tracks. He had to save his chords and amazing voice for the next about 40-50 shows what they will play in north and south-america. Poor Klaus...he tried to do his best but he couldn't win against the flu in this show. He usually had to stop singing or try to sing one octave lower. I would give my full respect that they didn't cancel the show and try to do everything because of the audience who had been waited for the band from many years ago. There is only one song (Dynamite) what they added to the set. They dropped mainly the slower tracks and some ballads. It's interesting that they didn't play Still Loving You either but the reason should be Klaus illness. We will see the next steps but I think the set will longer and include one of their biggest classics Still Loving You...GET WELL KLAUS! :)

Quality:

The recording is perfect! Super quality and I think no chance to make better job with any recorder and microphone. I got this material from my french friend in the original FLAC source so this stuff has lossless source. Thanks Chris! :)

"My first time using my Olympus at a large venue, aside from a few times I had to move a little bit to keep the security folk from seeing it, and a small amount of talkers, I am very pleased with the recording." (the taper)
