Comment:

As I wrote in my other russian comments the Scorpions went for a 3 weeks tour into the whole big country. This concert was at the last period of the tournament and sometimes it sounds in Klaus voice too. The band should had been tired because of the long travels. You can check it in Rudy's beginning of the "Coast To Coast" also. The setlist is the same as in every stations and I still can say...GREAT! They put some tracks into the setlist what they haven't played from long time ago like "Alien Nation", No Pain No Gain", "A Moment In A Million Years" and some special songs like "Hey You" what is Rudy's premier in live, or the "Living For Tomorrow" what made for the Leningrad concerts in 1988. These songs added to the repertoire because there was a poll at the last 5-6 weeks before the tournament when the fans could change what they want to listen to the concerts. The most popular tracks got chance for the playing. The big screen behind the stage had been a great choice also. My best part of the performance is the "Drum Jam" when every members play on drum. It looks like if I should hear The Stomp! :)) Amazing performance! Besides I just think that there are too many ballads in a rock bands' show. They always play "You And I" when they visit in Russia because this song is very popular in the ex-Soviet Union.

Quality:

The best quality show from the 2008 Russian Tournament! I converted the audio part of the DVD to wav and burned audio cd. The recording made from the first row at the Tatneft Arena. Sometimes the people who stood near the recorder are a little bit noisy near what can be heard only between two tracks. Very good material!
