The Scorpions had been in a short french tour after their new album's releasing. They had played four stations.Paris, Nantes, Dijon and Rouen. The new album Humanity released in 14th of May in France. This was the only one country where this great new Scorps stuff got to the music stores' shelves then. The official european release day was 25th of May. Besides these concert were so special because of a guest who had been a big part of the Scorpions history in the 70's. He is Uli Jon Roth who had played in both four concerts in France. This Dijon concert has a fantastic setlist. The band played 4 new tracks on it and there was an amazing block with Uli and the fantastic 70's era. The intro was "shanson-stlye what is at the end of song 'Humanity' on the alsom. The'Hour 1' is a perfect opening-track with full of enegry! The Scorpions kept the two most popular songs of their last album Unbreakable.'Love'em Or Leave'em' and 'Deep And Dark'. The Uli setlist is a little bit changed after the Colmar 2005 and Wacken 2006 concert. The biggest suprise was when Uli switched over from 'Dark Lady' to the next song what was one of the best classics in the 70's..'Fly To The Rainbow'! They played this masterpiece the last time in the Lovedrive tour with Matthias! Unbelievable! My other favourite is the solo of Pawel and James! Pawel played a short part of the Metallica's 'Enter Sandman' at the end of his solo!!! Very funny but sounds great! Finaly the Scorpions played a fantastic 130 minutes in Dijon and the audience was very proud that they can hear the band together with Uli again and they enjoyed the whole concert as I can hear in the recording. The Scorps haven't been in Dijon from the Love At First Sting Tour in 1984 so this night had been unfogettable for the french fans!

Quality:

Unfortunatelly the quality of the show is poor enough. The guy was standing in the first rows and recording the show with his digital camera. He used only his new photographer what can record sound and moving picture also. But the quality is not so great as by a video camera! I downloaded the material in video format from the internet and ripped the sound with my special programme. In fact the quality hadn't been better but still enjoyable. The recording has low-graded but the instrumets and Klaus voice are clean enough.
