Dio opened for Scorpions and Deep Purple, this is a pretty big outdoor half-arena venue, so he started during daylight and with people still arriving (hence his comment after Killing The Dragon, "Better late than never!").

Taping Notes:

Taped 1-2 seats to the left of soundboard. Both seats actually, I had a friend cancel late - and I didn't want to risk selling the ticket and get some crazy talker or guy who wants to get 18 of his friends down to my seats, ended up pretty well actually - I stashed my stuff in a buffer seat and kept shaking my head at people as if my buddy was about to come back.
