Comment:

Amazing rock'n'roll band and backing them one of the greatest philharmonic orchestras in the world; Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. It's definately one of the most respected ones in their own category. This show was broadcasted live by german tv-company ZDF to all over the world from the EXPO 2000 in Hannover. This unique show was given in support of the 'Moment Of Glory' -cd, released just few days before this concert. The whole album (except 'Lady Starlight') was played. Special guests include: Zucchero (from Italy), Ray Wilson (lead singer of Genesis) and Lynn Lychte (American singer). Also 'You And I' was played that isn't on the 'Moment Of Glory' album. I've got the video of the show and it's so enjoyable to watch the old rockers be so in awe of the sound of the band and the orchestra. There's an constant smile on every face that's on stage. 'Ve Persiero' is a song by Italian composer Verdi and it's sung by Zucchero. Best songs from this show are definately 'Big City Nights' that I don't like so much on the Scorpions/BPO-album. The version here is just mindblowing! Also 'Deadly Sting Suite' is Scorpions-music at it's best; fast, hard, melodic, exciting etc. If you have a chance, check it out. There is some talk between the songs of Klaus Meine and the host of the evening. Can't understand a word from it though... (MS)

Quality:

Excellent quality soundboard-recording. This audio was recorded from the tv-broadcast from cable tv. Only 'Send Me An Angel' has some dropouts and problems in the audio. Other than that the quality is perfect!
