First full show from the US-leg of the Face The Heat-tour '94. And what a great show it is. Setlist has gone through some major changes (songorder changed and some songs from the new album has been dropped; 'Someone To Touch' which I think was the best song from the album by far.). Also 'In Trance' and 'He's A Woman, She's A Man' are played first time since the days of 'Animal Magnetism' and they both sound so great!!! 'He's A Woman' has been dropped since (it's was played during the EXPO 2000 -gig in the 'Deadly Sting Suite' along with 'Dynamite'). A full guitar solo by Matthias Jabs is also a nice surprise, since there wasn't one earlier during the show and during the Crazy World-tour, Rudy get the chance of playing the solo (in the shape of 'Concerto In V'). Also to please the American fans, band adds a mindblowing version of 'No One Like You' which still is the song in America, the band is best known of (well maybe Wind Of Change, but I'd rather think they're remembered from a rocker!!!). A full electric version of 'Under The Same Sun' with great backing vocals by the rest of the band is also a nice one. Version from the European- and Japan-tours didn't have the 'sometimes, I think I'm going mad. We're losing all we had, and no one seems to care oh yeah... (MS) |
