First show from the Face The Heat-tour 1993. The band is on it's first trip to Greece and both the band and the crowd are thrilled to be there! Great show concidering it's the first show of the tour. During the European leg of the tour, the band brought Michael Schenker to play acoustic guitar during the unplugged part of the show. Those great classic ballads sound so great with acoustic instruments. New bassman Ralph Rickermann is introduced by Klaus Meine and he played stand up bass during the acoustic set. Great setlist with 'Hurricane' being in rather strange place; 2nd song of the show. Also 'Taxman Woman' makes it rare appearance, they played this songs only the first few steps and after that they dropped from the tracklist. Also an unknown (to me at least) greek folk song is played. This was done many times during this tour; in Japan and in southern America. Five of the new album's songs were played. Also 'Crazy World' stuff plays a major part in the setlist. (MS)
