After the 1988 Monsters of Rock festivals the Scorpions went to their own tournament in the US and Canada. They played longer (about 90-100 minutes) concert what were the "official" SA Tour there. Tha band played more songs about the new album and the light and sound design was much better and spectacular than in the MOR performances where they weren't the only one band and the headliners.
There are few known materials about the canadian concerts, like Toronto or Montreal show. But this is a rare recording from the Savage Amusement Tour. I just discovered the Winnipeg recordings in only 1-2 traders' sites. There is a little confusion by the guitars (mainly Matthias' lead part) at the beginning of the show in the 'We Let It Rock?You Let It Roll'. But after that will be very clean and perfect performance. The setlist is the same as their full SA concerts. The beginning of 'Rock You Like A Hurricane' is missing on the recording. (maybe the taper changed the cassette tape then)

Quality:

This stuff should been made with a dictaphone. The recording is very clear and all instruments are perfect. The audience isn't also too load. So I can say it's very great sound depends on the 80's. At the time there still haven't been digital recorders what should made better material. The bass is a little bit low but on the whole the recording is enjoyable very well.
