Comment:

After touring in England, and one date in Belgium, Scorpions are touring in France for 14 dates. The concert in Marseille, South of France, is one of the last. During the french dates the setlist has changed on some songs (the Same Thrill was played by example in Nice and Clermont-Ferrand, the song was left for the last dates) but a large part of the setlist is the same. Great opening song (the best in my opinion): Coming Home, with a different intro, wih a drum break. They play with high energy and enthousiam. There are some troubles at the begining of Loving You Sunday Morning, maybe a guitar was not on right tune. Lovedrive is played during a large part of the french dates, it will be remplaced by Big City Nights for the last date in Paris. They play Always Somewhere and Holiday during the french dates, we can think they should play Still Loving You , it was a big success in France!! , yes but it was a big success in late 1984, the single wasn't for sale in February 1984, that's why the song wasn't played in my opinion. The intro for Can't Live Without You is great, the way Klaus teases the crowd is awesome. The encores are excellent The Zoo, Don't Make No Promises and Can't Get Enough, the best song to fininsh a show. (Thanks to Christian!)

Quality:

The show was recorded by a tape recorder, sound is good for the era, but we can hear sometimes a little tape hiss. We can hear well the voice and guitars, but the bass is very hard to listen, drums are OK. This is one of the best recording of the french date that I have.
