The Scorpions had been in their first North-American tour in 1979. They played a shorter set (30-40 minutes) in festivals with different other artists. (Here in Milwaukee Sammy Hagar was the headliner) The band selected songs of old era and new stuff too. Matthias Jabs had been the lead guitarist of the band permanently in the last spring. He is playing very well the Uli songs. He gives new colour to these recordings.
This material is very rare. Few old traders who finished the collection many years ago has in their collection but it's very hard to find. i got it from an american trader who is not in the trading circle anymore. My version should be the 2.gen copy what I got in wav directly from the cassette tape. |
