Great quality soundboard-recording from the US-tour. Band obviously enjoys playing in the homeland of rock'n'roll for the first time and the crowd are loving them also. You can hear them singing on most of the songs, so it's obvious that their music had been circulating in America also. If you look at the setlist you notice that it's pretty standard set of that tour, so my guess is that this was really one of their headlining gigs of the America. Audio comes straight off the board, since expecially on Klaus Meine's vocals are quite a bit reverbed. It doesn't disturb at least me. This show has been released in bootleg also (Chicagofest 79 or something) but the date and the venue is not correct on it. Well, there are two recorded materials exist about the Illinois territory from 1979 when the Scorpions had been in America at first time ever. This is the show from Schaumburg what had been broadcasted in a local radio station (The Loop). The second one is an other Schaumburg show what was unschedulued. There was a special concert a "Sister City Show". There is another Schaumburg town in Germany also and this was the reason of this concert because as you know the Scorpions is a german band. :) But there is only an audience recording. The people know that the soundboard recording made in Chicago but no...there is the Schaumburg concert what recorded by the radio.
